GENESYS Announces COMPLETE Wireless Detection

GENESYS-CSS

Comprehensive Sample Screening

GENESYS Sampling Systems, the leader in statistical sampling solutions for the survey research industry, announces GENESYS-CSS, the first and only service that identifies ALL types of wireless/cellular numbers in telephone samples.  Moving beyond the naive NPA-NXX/thousand-block flagging techniques available industry-wide, this unique service will be a boon to researchers who choose to comply with TCPA (Telephone Consumer Protection Act) restrictions that prohibit the use of automated dialing devices to place calls to wireless/cellular telephone subscribers.

GENESYS-CSS identifies ALL TYPES of wireless numbers, including those in historically dedicated wireless and “mixed use” exchanges AS WELL AS those that have been ported from conventional landline service.

All telephone samples (e.g., RDD, Listed Household, customer lists, etc.) are virtually certain to already contain wireline numbers that have been ported to a wireless/cellular carrier.  GENESYS-CSS is the only service that will protect survey researchers from knowingly and willfully violating the restrictions on dialing these wireless numbers.

GENESYS-CSS wireless number identification is the newest addition to an already successful and unique suite of telephone number screening services.  In addition to wireless number identification, the GENESYS-CSS process greatly enhances identification of both business and non-working/disconnected numbers.  GENESYS-CSS RDD samples not only allow for TCPA compliance, but are also the most cost-efficient samples available for survey research – significantly more efficient than even Listed Household samples and client supplied lists.

“Our goal here was really to solve the wireless number dilemma plaguing the research industry, but a major side benefit is the resultant improvement in household hit rates”, says President Dale W. Kulp.  “In fact, we are seeing fully representative RDD samples with well over 90% of all non-productive numbers identified.  This means RDD dialing efficiencies that surpass almost any telephone sample one can imagine.  While the primary benefit is comprehensive TCPA dialing compliance, the resultant increase in cost-efficiency to survey research call centers is a real bonus.  Even Listed Household frames are improved and made TCPA compliant by using CSS.”

GENESYS invented and first introduced automated telephone number screening over 15 years ago with GENESYS-ID.  This “conventional” screening procedure has been phased out by GENESYS due to its inability to keep up with changing telecommunications and regulatory environments.  Says Kulp, “Automated screening remains a standard in the rest of the sampling industry, but it is really years behind advances in technology and what we know about our telecommunications network and call signaling.  In addition, these antiquated screening processes suffer from levels of call abandonment that are unacceptable even in the telemarketing industry.”

GENESYS-CSS samples and procedures are fully FCC/FTC compliant, while providing the most efficient and statistically representative telephone samples available anywhere, from anyone

The GENESYS Suite of Screening Services includes:

GENESYS Enhanced-ID The replacement for conventional, automated screening

GENESYS- IDplus Greatly improved business and non-working detection; RDD samples thatrival Listed Household samples in terms of productivity

GENESYS-CSS  The most comprehensive screening available - samples that exceed all others in terms of productivity, with both dedicated and ported wireless number detection
