MSG Adds ARCS to its wing

Marketing Systems Group (MSG) announces the acquisition of ARCS (formerly part of DBM Associates of White House Station, NJ) – a leading supplier of IVR (interactive voice response) products. The ARCS system provides a unique set of fully integrated capabilities – simultaneous inbound/outbound IVR options, panel management/scheduling, concurrent WEB/IVR survey capabilities and multiple project support.  Moreover, ARCS has fully-tested and implemented integration protocols with the PRO- T-S® Dialing System, the QTS Dialer and other research CATI systems.

“As the survey research data collection environment becomes more complex, fragmented and respondent-centric, our clients are demanding more options in terms of managing the respondent interaction process,” said Dale W. Kulp, President and CEO of Marketing Systems Group.  “With the addition of ARCS, we are now in a much better position to aid in the implementation of multi-mode designs (mail, telephone IVR and WEB) and help to usher in more flexible and respondent-determined survey interaction processes.”

Bruce Mueller, the architect and creator of the ARCS system and former President of DBM Associates, will be joining Marketing Systems Group as Senior Vice President and Director of the ARCS Division.  “Marketing Systems Group is a much larger organization, on the cutting-edge of survey data collection processes. This move will enable us to service our customer base with greater resources, while significantly expanding the ARCS system and its capabilities.  We believe this is going to be a very exciting and innovation-driven relationship.” In addition, the entire ARCS staff including both development and support personnel will be moving with Mr. Mueller to Marketing Systems Group.

MSG, creators of the PRO- T-S® Dialing System – the global leader in computerized dialing solutions for the survey research arena, envisions rapid integration and immediate benefits from the marriage of these two premier technology groups. PRO- T-S® boasts over seventy-five (75) installations in the US, Canada and Europe and has interfaces with many different CATI systems including CfMC, Query, Ci3, PTT and others.

Based on Windows NT, Microsoft Transaction Services (MTS) and SQL Server, the ARCS system is engineered to be efficient, flexible and highly scalable. ARCS currently has nearly thirty (30) installations spanning both survey research and end-user client companies in North America and Europe.
